Back! Read Journal!

Taken at the Darwin water front,

It is the Darwin Festival right now so there are a lot of plays and shows happening everywhere! It is pretty cool, knowing that where you may go, you could be in for a flash mob or a dance production anytime anywhere!

Anyway water front with the family, this little show begins, so we watch, it was really good, these two ladies came out in white dresses over the water and sorta sat, as a projector put colors and shapes on the dresses, giving off some really wonderful light shows, the ladies moved around in motion with the pictures coming from the projector giving this really nice affect! The show was by a group called Polytoxic
the show was called Trade Winds.

I have to say I need a nit of practice with night photography.

Nice picture! :)
Night photography is really hard, and to be honest I have no clue in how to make a beautiful night picture. There's always these little... Gosh, I have no idea how to say it in English! :D Like white noise on a tv? :) I hope you understand what I'm saying 'cause I'm feeling so frustrated that I cannot find the right English words :saddummy:
Anyway, even though it was taken at night, I think it's still beautiful. You can still see the ladies' expression, and the beautiful lights on her dress and umbrella. Floating dresses in water always create a ghost-like, mysterious atmosphere. There's a sharp contrast between those mysterious lights and the bright lights in the background, but that gives it a special touch.
Well done :D Good to have you back on dA! ;)
